Meet the team

Romit Cheema


Romy hails from a diverse CRE background, with experience in development, acquisition, and investment through his company CanTex Capital. Romy also brings a wealth of real estate legal experience from his time at Hunton & Williams, where he represented banks and real estate private equity groups doing foreclosures, loan workouts, and REO sales.

With a keen understanding of the intersection between lending and CRE, he saw the market void filled by Romy is a graduate from the SMU School of Law and the University of Texas at Austin.

Andrew Lin

COO, General Counsel

Andrew is a real estate, special situations, and venture capital investor with an emphasis on objective, data-driven methodologies. He comes from a family background of banking and real estate investing. Before joining he practiced patent litigation at Gibson Dunn.

Andrew is a graduate from the NYU School of Law and the University of Texas at Austin.

Kyle Polich


Kyle is a renowned data scientist. He is the founder of Data Skeptic, which provides consulting services for data science and machine learning. He also hosts the most popular data science and machine learning podcast on iTunes, the Data Skeptic Podcast.

He studied computer science and focused on artificial intelligence in graduate school at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Tony Jardieu


Formerly the Commercial Credit Lead Expert for the OCC's Southern District, Tony brings substantial loan review, policy development, and regulatory credit compliance experience. While at the OCC, Tony served as a resource to bankers and examiners on commercial credit issues and was on the Southern District Risk and National Commercial Credit Committees. Tony also served as an Advisory Board Member for the ABA's National Commercial Lending and Graduate Commercial Lending Schools. Tony has a MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.
